On Saturdays, there are two performances: a matinee at 2:00pm and an evening show at 7:30pm
There are Greek tragedies, there are Western romances, then there is Fool for Love.
With the wild and lonely desert as a backdrop, Shepard paints a gritty picture of a relentless lovesick madness that leaves no hearts safe in its wake. He reminds us that truth and love are no match for the past that haunts the present.
This production was originally performed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming during the winter of 2019. It was produced by Tickling the Beast and directed by Bob Berky. This New York run is directed by Fred Waggoner.
320 W. 23rd Street is an intimate store-front theater. Tickets are limited. Concessions are available. The play runs 1 hour 15 minutes without intermission.
